I think what I’m looking for is something a little quicker edge to edge, not necessarily more stable than the DW so maybe the Wildcat 101 would be the way to go as opposed to the C98.Īgreed on the C94 Tour front, would bring it into a littleīetter weight class than the 104. The graphics are sublimated on the new skis. Moment uses semi-cap construction now, so there's less sidewall material. Though this is still a very similar ski by design, it's a bit lighter than its predecessor. Now, if only there was a Commander Tour 94.then I could stop messing around with Moment's competitors. Since we tested this ski, its name has been changed from the Bibby to the Wildcat. But it still absolutely rails turns as it is nice and stiff underfoot. I haven't been on the W101, but I would imagine it's like the PBJ and is the most playful, jumpy, and park-oriented of the bunch. If you want the DW triple-camber magic (that others love), I'd say go DW104. If you want more of a flat-tailed charger, go C98. Landings are a bit firmer too - more power, less poppy ease. Requires a bit more precision, and definitely less playful v.

Turn radius feels more smooth and powerful. A mix of alien code like lines and oil paint brush strokes with a very pleasing color palate. Definitely less surfy than DW, but that's the width and upturned DW tail too. It definitely feels less razor-y (I'd use different adjectives, as I don't love the DW triple-camber, but everyone's different). Compared to a DW, PBJ, Wildcat 108/fat cat, the C98 rewards a more forward, driving stance.
